THRIFT HAUL: 11/23/14

It's been forever since I've made a post since I've been super busy with university, the essays and assignments are never ending. But I did however have the chance to go thrift shopping over the weekend where I found some of my all time favorite pieces. This past week I went to Value Village's 50% off sale, where I unfortunately didn't pick up as many things as usual. Although I only found three things, i'm completely in love with them.

This dress is 100% silk from French Connection...i'm still shocked I found it for only $9. It's a beautiful shade of coral pink, which is my favorite color for summer. It's double lined, which I find is incredibly difficult to find in the paper thin maxi dresses available in the stores. Plus the added leg slit is a subtle yet sexy touch. Since it's such an effortless dress i'll pair it with a large floppy hat and thin leather sandals in the summer. The original price on this dress from ASOS was $283.

These Stuart Weitzman shoes are $385.23 originally!! I'm still in denial that I found these heels for only $7. They're the perfect nude heel, plus they're real leather. I noticed a few marks on them, but that couldn't stop me from purchasing them. I love nude heels since I have shorter legs, and they significantly elongate them, creating the illusion of mile long legs.

Last but not least I found these brand new Brian Atwood for Neiman Marcus leather gloves. They still have the tags on them which are being sold on Amazon for $99. These were only $3 at Value Village. I'm obsessed with these gloves because the length makes them super sophisticated, yet the leather and the use of embellishment makes them super modern and cool. I'm going to pair them with a cape or poncho, to cover up the my exposed arms. The also look amazing with over sized sunglasses and a sophisticated cocktail dress.
